What have you learnt about technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
In the project successful uses of technology
included the Panasonic camera, zoom stereo recorder and premier pro. A key
decision that was made was to use a sound recorder for the non-diegetic parts
as they can be heard clearly over a scene away from the interrogation. We also
decided to use a Panasonic camera as it was the best camera and the easiest to
use as there are few buttons and tripods were available for this correct model.
In post-production premier pro was the editing software the project would be
on, here the basics included cross fades sound bridges and it was also clear
for instructions on how to use this technology.
The first piece we
used was the Panasonic camera to film both indoor and outdoor scenes, the
stereo recorder was used to save non diegetic sounds for the project while
premier pro was used to put together the piece and edit when needed. While
doing this project I have learnt how to edit films through premier pro as by
using techniques such as adding cross fades, understanding continuous editing
and also how to spit sound from image to create a sound bridge. I also learnt
how to use blogger, where I can add progressions of the project.
