CHARACTER PROFILES

Jake Lestrade
Age - 33 (1999) 35 (2002) 48 (2015)

Starts off in 1999 as an erractic but confident, young detective, still bouncing off his success in a narctoics that resulted in his promotion. He gets the call regarding the case of the exchange student and heads down to the case in usual frame of mind. When he comes across the body and the note he visually changes, understanding that this wasn't the killers first or and won't be his last. In 2002, after increasingly strenuous media pressure following several other missing persons cases being reported over the past two years, Jake is now desperate for a some sort of lead, and is beginning to show the first signs of cracking under the demand to find the killer. After the teenage daughter of a close friend goes missing, the case becomes far more personal to him, leading him to having an emotional breakdown when he is still unable to convict anyone. When he confronts the killer out in the woods and arrests him, he holds his emotions back as much as possible, but after coming cross the body of his latest victim coupled with his taunts, Jake loses it and shoots him, resulting in his sacking. In 2015, Jake's character has now severely deteriorated.












Detective Shackleton
Age - 35

In the office beside the other detective (Marshall), taking a similar role to what Lestrade had before he was sacked.The detective, aswell as an interogator Shackleton is seen at a murder making notes of what was found. He is the less intimidating of the two detectives with his inexperience asking questions tentatively sitting to the left of Marshall wearing a black coat.










Detective Marshall
Age - 43
The more experienced detective that introduces and interogates with more aggression and questions that Lestrade struggles with. The detective is also at a murder scene with Shackleton, taking pictures as well as being the head of the operation. Marshall is on the right hand side of the table wear a black polo shirt in the office and a grey coat in the murder scene.




















Terry Ogden
Age - 50
Known as the "murderer" Terry is found in the woods by Lestrade and is later handcuffed to the ground, he waits and teases Lestrade with words and the body he has left behind that Lestrade finds aggrevates him to end the murderers life after a run of 3 years.
